Major Breakthroughs in Sustainable Development
CRXCONEC's factory has achieved significant breakthroughs in sustainable development, including:
- Cooling Tower Energy Efficiency: By using variable frequency motors and timed electric valves, we cut daily assembly production line electricity consumption by 61.6%, from 190 kWh to 73 kWh. In the molding workshop, we achieved a 41.3% reduction, from 150 kWh to 88 kWh.
- New Medicinal Water Insulation Tank: By reworking the electroplating production line, using double-layer tanks with insulation materials, and improving sealing, we reduced the 12-hour cooling drop from 40 degrees to 13 degrees, cutting daily production electricity usage by about 25%.
- Low-Carbon Product Development: Successfully developed products with 35% reduced carbon emissions and promoted their sales. In 2023, we plan to continue developing products with 41% and 50% reduced carbon emissions.
- Factory Lighting Improvement: Replaced all factory lighting with LED lights and used high bay lights as required, reducing electricity usage by 34.1%. For outdoor lighting, we introduced 18 solar street lights, saving 486 kWh per month, with an expected payback period of 21 months for the solar equipment.
Future Outlook
Looking ahead, CRXCONEC’s factory will continue to drive innovation and practices in ESG, sharing carbon reduction methods and benefits to promote sustainable development among related companies and the supply chain. We aim to reduce carbon intensity by 38.6% by 2030 and develop products with 41% and 50% carbon reduction, such as RJ45 patch cords and RJ45 connectors.
