ADSS fiber optic wire is an non-metallica cable and it does not require support or messenger wire. Mostly used on overhead power lines and/or poles and the self-supporting design allows installations independent of other wires/conductors. It is constructed with loose tubes which provide great mechanical properties under a wider range of conditions such as crush test and impact test, and are filled with water blocking gel.
With "Dual" sheathconstructionn in ADSS fiber optic cable, it increases its crush resistance and max tension. Furthermore, aramid yarns have an excellent performance against high tension for aerial applications and aerial-to-duct transitions.
